This is an image of my two little characters, there is my French Bulldog name Sir Winston Churchill and a Chinese Crested name Spartacus. I had fun taking this image and edited it. First I softened the image and then put a border on it, then added characteristics to it. Winston sometimes has a snobby attitude towards Spartacus, and Spartacus acts like a little thug. I can so see my hairless dog rock tattoos with an Afro. As much as they fight with each they are inseparable. I really had a fun time doing this assignment; I am hoping this is what was expected of me. I wanted to do more, but I think for this assignment Ian mentioned just something simple is okay. I love diving in and getting into these kinds of projects. It is very simple to get lost in Photoshop and well any kind of digital project. I am glad that we got to experiment in Photoshop. I am used to Adobe Illustrator, so I liked that I can freshen up a little more with it.
Hey there KareBear! I really like the way u took a real photo of your pets and made them into a creative comic like cartoon. I think your idea of making them into characters is a great idea, and i especially love their names! I also think the style and direction you went with the art is very interesting, strange and humorous, which I find very appealing! I especially like the “PAIN” stamp with the brass knuckles on the Chinese Crested!! Keep up the good work, I look forward to seeing more of your art!!
